On the verge.
I know I have mentioned it before on this blog, but when parents split up, it just plain sucks. I feel like a piece of rope in a game of tug o'war that is ready to snap.
Life is too short to not.

How much fun is Las Vegas!!! Big thanks to the homies (Dave, Lauren, Chris, and Amber) for making this quick trip to the city of sin so much freakn' fun! I needed it. I can't wait to see the pictures taken by my cousin Amber. I will try to post some on this blog. So much stuff went down in the last two and a half days but to sum it up in a few short words: Hooters, Carrots, Beads, Biznotchie, Booze, and Flight 909. Looking forward to next year and adding this to the list of new traditions. Thanks friends for being the best ever!
After taking a relaxing ride on my rocket, I stopped by the local John Deere dealership to see my future Gator Utility Vehicle sitting proudly on the show room floor. Sorry Godfathers, I think I will be keeping it after all! Damn, it is hot today!
Today is officially the longest day in the year! For those who live in my community, they know that our July fourth festivities are next to none. It is the biggest city event of the calendar year. The day begins with a lengthly parade that becomes a homecoming for many family and friends. For the fifth year now, my summer recreation program has entered a float. Of those years, we have taken back to the youth center two first place trophies and one second. This year, my leaders and I are going for gold, however, have some very stiff competition (Lauren :)). I look forward to this very exhausting day! Sidenote: this is the first fourth of July that will just not be the same. Why does life and tradition need to change?
