October is here!

I am so excited that it is finally October. I love this month. The weather is starting to cool off. The smells of harvest are in the air. Ending the month with Halloween is the cherry on top. Things with the parents are still distant, however, I am doing my best to connect more with my mom. I love her so much. I have missed her company but will do better to make our visits happen more often. What else. It looks like I will be heading off to another country as a volunteer with the Peace Corp. The job is a teaching assignment in Africa but things can change. I don't care where I go. I am just so excited about the idea of living in another part of the world. It is time to spread my wings. I need to keep this blog updated more often. I have been so busy with school and civic activities. I love to keep busy, though, so I am not complaining. Hootie Hoot.
